Samantha Harden received her 200 Hour yoga teacher certification in June of 2017 through Yoga Alliance delivered at In Balance Yoga Studio, Blacksburg, VA. Through this training Samantha was able to combine her academic background (PhD in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise, Virginia Tech) and her passion for matching breath with movement. The founding principle of her classes is related to the yoga ethical guideline of ahimsa (non-violence and compassion) to our bodies and our practices. She teaches beginners to level 2/3.
