Ginger began taking yoga classes in college as a way to unwind from a long run or some other strenuous physical activity.  It wasn’t until going through some challenging life events that she discovered the greater healing properties of yoga. Yoga helped her connect to her body and spirit in healthy and gentle ways instead of constantly being in opposition of both. Yoga helped her to find the space for deeper self-awareness and to calm the constant chatter in her head.  After practicing daily for about a year, Ginger decided she wanted to take her practice further by pursuing her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate through In Balance Yoga studio in Blacksburg. She is excited to give back to her Blacksburg yoga community, to share all the wonderful benefits that yoga has brought to her life, and to continue to learn from the amazing teachers and students past, present and future.
