Dwyn was born in Stuttgart, Germany and has traveled around the globe throughout his life. An avid soccer player during his youth, he embraced physical fitness at an early age and actively retained that mindset as an adult. Through a 20+ year career in the military, he learned the crucial importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and developed a deep sense of servant leadership with heartfelt compassion for people. Years of involvement in team sports, group exercise, personal training and competitive sporting events including road races and sprint triathlons ultimately led to his passion for yoga. After practicing for seven years, he recognized a yearning to lead others in yoga and in 2015 obtained his certification as a yoga teacher.

Dwyn earned his 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training certification through Yoga Den in Jacksonville, Florida under the tutelage of Alyson Foreacre (ERYT 500). “I’ve consistently embraced the culture of physical fitness throughout my life, but I firmly believe yoga has had more positive influence on my overall health than any other activity.” Dwyn enjoys teaching an array of yoga styles while purely focusing his efforts on the needs of others. Encouragement and reassurance through a gentle teaching method that challenges each individual to achieve his/her optimal yoga practice are his chief goals. “My role is to offer a class that ensures each participant gains a deeper awareness of mind, body and spirit—and ultimately brightens his/her day!”
