Alyssa fell in love with yoga during an assisted pigeon pose that brought her to tears 7 years ago. A Long Island native, Alyssa completed her 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training with the Kunga Yoga School at In Balance Yoga Studio in 2018. Her personal practice complements her studies in mental wellness and emotion regulation. As a teacher, Alyssa aims to incorporate the physical and mental benefits of yoga into accessible sequences to help students create and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Alyssa’s personal practice in AcroYoga inspires her to combine aspects of partner yoga with traditional asana and hands-on assists to foster connection and lightheartedness.
