For the beginner to yoga or for the practitioner interested in
fine tuning their skills, this workshop will introduce pranayama (breath
extension) and asanas (postures) in a clinic format, allowing questions
as well as hands-on instruction and adjustments.

Kim
Pugh joins In Balance Yoga after completing a 300-hour teacher training
certification through Moksha Yoga Center with Daren Friesen and is a
member of Yoga Alliance. Kim has also worked as an adjunct professor at
Columbia College’s Dance Center, where she taught Beginning Yoga
Studies. She has been a yoga instructor in both the group and private
setting at many of Chicago’s studios and she also owned and managed her
own yoga studio. Presently, Kim is working her way through Rod Stryker’s
Para Yoga teacher training program and is also a student of Samudra:
Global School of Living Yoga with Shiva Rea.
Kimberly holds basic certification in Thai Yoga Massage through
Paul Weitz and has studied Ayurveda with Robert Svaboda. She is both
grateful and honored to have studied extensively with many yoga masters.
